This is one of a series of articles spotlighting our storage facilities and neighborhoods.
The town of Little Elm is a scenic community located along the banks of Lake Lewisville, north of Dallas by forty minutes. It boasts a small-town charm and lakeside character that appeals to newcomers and long-time residents alike. An interesting tidbit about Little Elm is that part of the original downtown resides below Lake Lewisville; the result of Corps of Engineers raising the lake level by moving an impoundment dam.
The town population has grown 48.6% in the last five years, bringing recent numbers to more than 20,000 residents. Little Elm is recognized as one the fastest growing communities in the country.
Thousands flock to the region every month because of the robust job market, making Little Elm very attractive to investors and businesses for its growth potential. Families are attracted to Little Elm for its academically recognized Independent School District and because it is a safe place to live. While you would probably still want to lock your doors at night, it is reassuring that the FBI named Little Elm the safest city in Texas in 2013.
Being such a desirable community in which to live and work means the sooner you can get in on the real estate market, the better. Investors are already snapping up apartment properties surrounding the Sunset Pointe neighborhood that are among the most expensive in North Texas.
CubeSmart’s Little Elm self-storage on Sunflower Drive, located north of El Dorado Parkway and South of US 380, makes a convenient storage option for the Sunset Pointe neighborhood. Sunset Pointe has a nice mix of commercial and residential properties in master-planned communities and lakeside plots.
Being so close to a lake, there are plenty of activities to take advantage of on the water such as boating, water skiing and jet skiing, fishing, and swimming. CubeSmart’s Little Elm self-storage in Sunset Pointe has boat storage and parking as well as RV storage and parking; a perfect solution if you don’t have space or if your homeowners’ association doesn’t allow it to be parked at your home.

Our team will exceed your expectations according to recent customer Billy R. who left this self-storage review on Google: “Just met these good people on June 3; rented a space on the spot, with no further “consideration”. The facility is clean, secure, relatively new (my section IS new), and the management appear to be excellent. My expectations were exceeded.”
Whether you are in between homes, decluttering to sell your home, renovating, or need seasonal storage, our team is ready to help. The team in Little Elm offer this storage tip to their customers, “When putting things in your storage unit, remember to put items you will need to access at the front of your unit.”
