Just got off the phone with the customer service representative and have a case because this location has had me on the waitlist for a 10 x 20 storage unit for 11 months and confirmed with higher-ups that there are currently some available right now and have been available the entire time and since I’ve been waiting to upgrade to my 5 x 10 to a 10 x 20 storage unit I’ve been overcharged twice And on the second time and being told that there’s nothing they can do for me and the customer service is just absolutely atrocious the manager. There has no idea what she is talking about or the information she provides. You is completely inaccurate not to mention she hangs up on you when you call her out and tell her that you’re not really being helpful and you’re being nothing but combative and argumentative with me and when you try to call back from three different phone numbers ignores every single phone call making it so you can’t get in contact to discuss your bill or do absolutely anything and now I have to wait two days for the district manager to reach out to me and I’m still sitting here with extra money being taken out of my bank account for a 5 x 10 storage unit while waiting 11 months to upgrade to a storage unit that’s been available the whole time!!! WHAT A JOKE!

The CubeSmart Chapel Road, South Windsor: Initial price is ok, but price increase every year $125 for 5 x 7 unit (like large closet) is way too much. The manager acts like you're bothering her and doesn't care if you leave or not. Very disappointing customer service.

Worse experience, Im a customer for 3 years, the front desk girls are never there. I live in NYC and travel to the storage unit twice a month, one time I waited 45 minutes for the front desk to be open and one time the girl was no show, the office was closed! I pay $120 for a unit just to find out that online price was half a price. Also they keep charging me for insurance even after providing my home insurance

Quick pick up easy but be careful turning anything bigger than a 26 ft truck the alleys are a bit narrow. Just be mindful. Otherwise a clean and safe place for storing your goods, move, furniture, boxes etc.

I don’t know if this is a chain of storage facilities that are doing the same thing, but the one that’s located in South Windsor Jack’s up their prices every six months. I don’t get a raise every six months, I am willing to bet they’re boys don’t get a raise every six months, there is no justification for jacking up the rates every six months. They entice you with this marketing ploy making you think you’ve got a good deal, and then six months later your bill comes out $20 higher a month. That’s no bargain, and there is no explanation, they just do it. That’s not the way to conduct a good business. I will not recommend this storage facility to anyone unless you can get a one year contract at that price. As soon as I can find another storage facility that is not going to jack up my rates every six months, then guess what, I’m moving and we can have a moving part I will not recommend this storage facility to anyone unless you can get a one-year contract at that price. Been here over 6 years have dealt with 2 break ins first one over 125 plus customer's garages. Then very recently another over 70 garages customer's broke into in 2020. I lost items during both break ins. Base rate high & they go up every 6 months in the past 10.00 to 25.00 but now over 35.00. Started at 180.00 now at 275.00 plus. With break ins none stop. I have lost alot of items stolen during break ins they could care less and price sky rocketing evan during this pandemic sad to see. So security very poor prices very poor been in moving business 35 years treated here worst than any company in my life. The price is not guaranteed for life but needs to be fair increases not abuse. Send over 75 referrals to them over my 6 years current managers could care less.

This location the staff is friendly, understanding, helpful. I didn't have any issues and my personal property was kept safe. I liked the fact there is surveillance and the property has tenant living right next to the storage units. I feel that is extra security if something goes wrong or any suspicion of illegal entry. The place is well secured.

Good place for storage until last month when a Vandal smashed the doors in on most of the units. The video surveillance was so poor the police could not make an arrest. No one has reached put to make a proper apology for poor security, follow up for any loss, reduce the rent or show they care in anyway.

I rented 2 units at this location after outgrowing the smaller unit I was able to easily move to a larger one. Lexi, the manager was so helpful when there was a glitch in the billing. I was impressed with her ability to quickly resolve the issue and was a tremendous help through the process. If I ever need space again, you know where I am going! The place is always clean, they honor the hours of operation, the staff is helpful and the prices very competitive. This location is very convenient and close to the highway. Easy on and off, short drive to all major interstates.

Storage facility is nice and secure. The only objection I had was that the web site doesn't let you know that you MUST take out the insurance on your unit on a monthly basis, which makes the cost per month higher than you anticipated. Manager was extremely pleasant and helpful.

I have been a customer of the South Windsor branch since Feb. of 2013. I have received such superb customer service over the years that I have had no reason to move to a different branch. This branch also gives me the best bang for my buck, which is important if you live on a budget, or just value great quality. I have always been met with patient, compassionate customer service. I have no complaints. I move around frequently, and request to rent additional units from time to time. Full service with a great attitude has always been experienced from Donna. She is very sweet, soft spoken, hands on, and great at her job. This time, I will be moving out of state no later than next spring I expect. I will miss Donna. Her hospitality reminds me of home ( NC).
