This storage location is super convenient being off Maryland but also secure in a slower, residential area vs. being on a main drag. It has great security and prices. The management staff is also super helpful and professional. It was so hot out when I was moving so I had to do a lot of my heavy lifting as the sun was coming down and Virginia was so helpful in allowing me to borrow the dolly when I needed it. It made things so much smoother. I like that they have the option of temp controlled or regular units. Plenty of sizes to fit your needs. The overall process of renting the space was also very quick and easy. I did everything online, but called in just to be certain and Virginia was very kind and assured me of the process. They even provide a brand new lock vs. you having to bring your own which was so convenient. You can of course bring your own secondary lock for extra security if you want. The facility is clean and well kept. I was sad to hear Virginia has since moved on to new exciting opportunities bc I wont see her cheerful self when I return, but I am very happy for her good karma as she is a good person. I spoke with the new manager Daniel and he was also kind and professional. I feel confident in this staff and the facility and trust that my items are stored securely. Thanks guys! Appreciate yall.

I rented in '22 at $140, and left bc my most recent increase in rent was the last straw. I am used to jumps in rent on my storage units, I know this is a thing. But in the few years I've had my Cubesmart unit the increases I experienced were huge compared to other companies. A $50/month increase? My rent ended up more than doubling, over a few years! AND whenever I went to fetch my things everything was covered in a THICK layer of dust and dirt. This hasn't happened at my East Charleston unit OR my Decatur unit, both of which are cheaper and climate controlled. And my Cubesmart unit was always the hottest during the summer, out of all 3 facilities. Also, both of my other facilities provide carts for helping you move things inside, this is my only facility that has no carts anywhere for renters to use. It is clear that for the money this Cubesmart location is predatory towards it's renters. I initially accepted the high rent due to location, but if you can't cool the place or keep the outside out of my unit, then you have no right raising rents at all. They made it very worthwhile to go get my things and move to another place. *This is also the only facility I've ever gotten trapped inside of. I once left my unit past 10p, and found i couldn't leave. Had to go through a whole crazy phone call to get them to remote open the gate. Just fyi, they're very strict about driving OUT apparently.

Moving is always so stressful, but Virginia at the Maryland Pkwy Cube Smart Storage made the next step in our relocation less overwhelming. She is very efficient, friendly and helpful in reviewing our options and guiding us through the process of securing our possitions.

I like the ease of searching online and not even having to go in to get a storage unit. HOWEVER!!! What brought this score WAY DOWN was not being able to use my own lock. I have the same lock from a previous time I rented with CubeSmart but they force you to get another lock and charge you $20. If these locks are supposedly “guaranteed for life” yet you keep having to buy one every time you rent with them. Other places allow me to use my own lock and either don’t charge me or at the very least give me “credit” for the $20 on my next bill.

I like the deal one month free a second month half, the unit was the biggest i got ,out side for the price $360.00 my friend has a unit the sain side for $500.00 on storage all or something like that , my unit was clean ,out side ,and in all over the parking blocks. The two hostess the welcome me at Marilyn parkway cube Snart was very nice they walk me true, and I'm got a good deal packet boxes,definitely I recommend to every body to you safe money and is close from the freeway one block on 215 exit Windmill guys fallow my advice you whom be regretted.

Virginia was super nice and gave us much needed extra time to get a large auction unit cleared. Facility seemed very well kept, which for a storage facility seems somewhat uncommon. Would definitely rent here if I lived closer.

I've been working out of this storage unit for 5 years and the new manager Virginia has been fantastic and has made my job much easier.

I’m not usually One to leave reviews, But I left one for this CubeSmart location a few months ago as my/my fiancée’s unit had been broken into once and attempted to have been broken into a second time with very little communication or cooperation from the facility. We now have spoken multiple times with both Bill and Virginia, The new manager of this location, And they have both been extremely sympathetic to our situation and worked very hard with us to ensure that we are not only satisfied with the service here, but feel content that the security of our belongings (and, let’s be real, lives) are not only a priority for us but for them as well. The last thing we wanted to do was move several storage units to an entirely new facility and they have given us a piece of mind to believe that won’t be necessary. This change of management was definitely a good move on the part of CubeSmart corporate.

My gate code did not work the first few days and during that time my unit was broken into. This was an inside job, I believe. It happened at the S. MARYLAND LOCATION IN LAS VEGAS

I have been a long time customer. I expressed my desire to move to a smaller unit and Virginia, the mgr. made sure I was aware of the October special which gave me the incentive to start downsizing. Once I selected a new unit, I was not satisfied of the condition so Virginia allowed me to select a different unit and processed the transfer with ease. Additionally, I had some trouble with the door on my old unit and Virginia had maintenance help me get in, and he was also very helpful. The facility itself is also well looked after, the buildings are nice and clean. Virginia was very courteous and attentive to my storage needs. Kathleen Lindsley

Dirtiest storage place I’ve ever encountered but I already had the moving trucks there & paid for everything. Was too late to make a change.

Horrible place. They set you up to be robbed there. My storage was broken into after 2 days of moving things in. No camera no security and none of the gates are locked .

My email was answered in less than 5 mins. The communication in the entire process was outstanding. Virginia and David were the best! I was in the area and wanted to go check it out before I moved in. I wasn’t going to move in until the next day. They kindly gave me their time. Showed me how to get to my unit and answered any questions I had. I didn’t realize it was closing time for them. You would have never known it by their kindness and helpfulness. Thanks you guys! I’m so happy to have found this place.

I would have given 5 star , I took 3 star off because the assistant manager who I dealt with needs to take some costumer relation class. He is rude, short , uncooperative. He could have made a great sale with me , I am a long time costumer with this storage place. I would prefer to deal with someone else , this is a deal breaker for me. He needs to be reminded of the old saying “ you catch more flies with honey”. Attitude is everything in the costumer service department. I like the storage snd everything else is convenient except to deal with this manager. O liked better the previous one.

Easy access, decent price. Although walkway in building was fairly clean, my locker was unclean upon my arrival with debris on floor and left behind wrapping paper. I left it outside the building. It was still there a couple days later. The online system did not allow me to remove the lock purchase. If you have your own, you need to go in the office during business hours to get a credit and return it.

They hold my stuff really well.

My unit was broken into no one notified me. No one noticed for two weeks until I came to inspected by myself. Management never called to even apologize or a find a solution. Will not recommend

First, I must say that the storage fee for my chosen size climate control unit is pretty much reasonable, compared to other storage companies I used in the past, CubeSmart is very clean with a easy to use app that give easy access in and out , also 5 star to the employee that took care of me, although the system was down because of power outages in the neighborhood, he made a few calls and in no time I had access to my storage unit with CubeSmart.

Adrian was awesome! Felt so good feeling taken care of with all the details and showings!! He was kind and very considerate and helpful in choosing the right cube for me.

Great Service

Went to clean out my unit only to discover it was already cleaned out! A lock belonging to Cube Smart was on it, yet they claimed they had no idea where my stuff could have gone. On top of that, they were the real victims because some customers might worry their belongings were not safe. Well they are not! As I argued, they insisted they had no idea where my stuff could have gone even though their lock had not been tampered with. Not only that, but they offered no compensation, but said I could get a refund of my last payment, but only if I turned over my remaining items to them. Words can not say how upset I am with this company. For legal reasons I can't point out the obvious of what happened to my stuff. But the way they almost were amused by it and insulted me upon discovery of it is something I will never let go. Avoid this place at all costs

I personally liked this storage. I liked being able to use the app to enter the gate. Darren is the office manager and he was very very helpful when we had first inquired about mine and my boyfriend’s storages. I love that they have the climate control units, right off the freeway super convenient. My biggest issue was always the door. Since the day we moved in, it was bent and wouldn’t stay rolled up. I was always concerned that it would end up hitting my head and it did come close. I was also always watching it though to make sure it didn’t.

Be cautious, my unit was broken into at this place in 2020. After bringing it to their attention, the employee that helped me knew a lot about how the burglars “Might of did it” The employee showed me video surveillance of a “former tenant” that he knew by face, name, and pick-up truck, that still had access to the gate code, that would pull in overnight. The video showed him pulling in and leaving last before our unit was opened. They didn’t have video in the halls so I don’t know if it was him or not. What I thought was strange although helpful was that the employee knew a lot about the former tenant, even their address. Just a shady place and vibe all around. Rent with caution

Once I put in a reservation for a cube I was inundated with Very high pressure, "When are you coming in?, 1-2 emails and 2-3 texts everyday. Phone messages from manager. It was annoying.

Moved in- in July 2023 The climate control/swamp Cooler was broken upon move in. We were moving out of the country and had zero time to change storage factories. Spoke to corporate- and the regional manager. Prior to move in I specifically asked staff and management about climate control and was assured it was good to go. Their short answer “ we Have no idea when it will be fixed we have been waiting on parts for weeks… what do you want me to do?”. Photo attached move in date mid July. It was over 100°, second photo for reference of cube smart so you know it was taken on property. . Good luck

I knew that I needed storage,and I was referred to CubeSmart as by a buddy of mine I lost the entrance code and when I asked for it he told me to come back the next day even though they were open. For this act I'm giving them a one star , it would not have been very hard for this man to go into the computer and I mean I have my ID and everything why why they trying to make my life harder. There wasn't even any customers in front of me

Climate control is not working so makes me wonder why they charge so much!!

Got trapped in facility when trying to leave with another customer after 10pm. I paid extra for 24 hour access and haven’t gotten the 24 hour access to the unit even when trying to leave. It’s too hot to not have access to space 24 hours. Also outdoor units not well lit and no ventilation. Even at night when you are moving stuff in or out it will fell like an oven.

I've had my garages with them since 2020 and I cannot express enough on how satisfied I am with their excellent customer service! Drew and Kevin are always friendly and very knowledgeable. As for the garages themselves, I've had no issues with security or faulty doors and they have always gotten the job done. 10/10 would recommend to everyone

When moving our belongings out we noticed the building was really hot. When we asked the manager about the A/C unit she said it was broken and probably had been since last summer. She didn’t know when it would get fixed.

My stuff was safe and unharmed. Very protected facility. Even being in the heat of summer, my possessions were not damaged by the elements.

Wow they somehow deleted my review about my storage getting broken into and none of the security services they advertised happened to be working. Didn’t see anyone walking into my unit on camera at all during the night. Seemed like an inside job. Horrible service horrible security. Don’t put your things here it could get broken into and you won’t be able to do anything. Oh and there’s no way they got all these reviews without paying. They had 3 1star reviews not too long ago and now they nearly have 200!? Horrible business. They got rid of the other 1star reviews about units being harmed and all of a sudden there is nothing you were offered including insurance since cubesmart bought this place and “made us sign” new contracts, but I was never given the chance. So that means I had no insurance even though I was paying for it. I can’t express enough how messed up this place is and how I trusted my things there. There were others and they mysteriously deleted their reviews. Snakes

I have stored my RV at this facility for a year. I love this location close to the airport. It is new, clean and well managed. I have always felt my RV was secured and safe. The management team is friendly and attentive and makes me feel at home when I am there. Truly a great experience.

TRASH!! BE WARE. This used to be a good location! CubeSmart bought it out and they are the worst. Codes don’t work half of the time, what a sham!!

Easy access- friendly staff

Awesome! I made the reservation online the night before. Little did I know the first month is completely FREE...I thought I had to rent additional months in order to get the FREE month. The facility is very clean. Connie, the manager, was very knowledgeable and courteous.

I like the staff very friendly and helpful but only been there a year. When I signed my agreement I was told a price increase would not happen in a year of contract, but after 6 months they hiked it up an additional $12.00 and now another 6 months later they hiked up an additional $20.00. I feel lied to and that the company just greedy. Looking for another storage facility with lower pricing or I will just take home.
