When we needed to rent storage quickly we found Casa Joe's and were so happy with the service. That was the last time I can say we were happy. A week later we received a letter saying they were bought out by Cubesmart and things went bad quickly!!! We were having to move everything we owned into 3 units while we waiting for our a apartment. 2 weeks basically took 2 months and we were living out of our car and motel rooms. They knew this and would call us or email our notices. They also informed us several times that they sometimes would not have staff at that office to take our payments. That was difficult since we often did not have transportation. When we were finally able to move into our apartment we were so excited and got people to help and vehicles and since Sunday is the ONLY DAY our help was available we planned on working through most of the day. Weren't we surprised when we got there and found the locks had been replaced. Of course it was Sunday and no one was available to help us! When they contacted us on Monday we were told they were updating the facility and sent letters out! They knew we didn't have an address so how could we possibly get that notice? They can send emails with our bill! Why can't they send an email with that very important information!!! All we got was an apology and told we could pick up the keys during business hours. Guess what! When we did show up the place was closed! We finally were able to get the keys but the help we had was no longer available! We've tried working with them to pay our payments but when we were able to come up with a little bit of money we were always told they wouldn't take partial payments or combined payments. Well, needless to say all our belongings will be sold or thrown away! Yes, this has caused a lot of stress on my health and has had caused some problems. I urge people to beware of renting anything from this company!!! I've had storage units from several other companies and never had the problems I've had with these people.

Got a call from Angelica that our unit was broken into this morning. Got the call at 5 pm. I was obviously very angry. I asked why she didn’t call this morning. She yelled I had 13 people to call. I said you don’t care cause it’s not your things. She yelled the F word and the B word at us multiple times and told us to move out. It’s been nothing but problems since we moved in. Gate hardly works. This is not a position she can handle. The amount of units here isn’t a lot and barely needs a golf cart. Move her somewhere she can handle.

I rented a unit online and came in person to receive my lock and such all under an hour. Angelica the general manager there is awesome and super friendly, and I'm glad they have her there. Recommend to anyone needing quick storage but due check their office hours before you decide to want to come in as they're closed Sundays.

They just recently bought this place from a previous owner and it has been nothing but trouble to enter the gate. I've been more than a year here before them and never ha sit been so difficult to get inside and out until these guys took over. I'm definitely taking all my things out this month!!! EDIT*** After coming back for a key of my storage there's no one at the office to get me the key, came during business hours and it's not new that there's nobody here. Another reason to be out of here quick. Don't waste your time

These guys were great. I was in a time pinch on a saturday while I was passing through town on my way home. I spoke with Dawn. She went above and beyond to help me get an RV spot set up that same day. She set it all up. Everything was done by phone, including contract signing. It's so nice to work with actual people (instead of call centers or answering systems) who just understand when people just need help.

It's relaxing to sit my storage unit when I need a place to hang out for a little while away from the stress of every day life or waiting to get my son from school almost good enough to live in as far as feeling safe and even temperature in the unit is nice for when I am having to go through my boxes to find stuff. I wish I could live in it with all my stuff. An on site manager would be nice to have but when I had one unit door break they moved me to another unit and discounted the following months rent for my trouble I thought that was awsome

I’ve been at the Los Lunas location for over 2 years and never had any issues. Was a little disappointed when they got new owners/management and the rent increased, but I also understand that everything is increasing right now. The new owners have always been very nice and helpful though! I always try and pay my bill 6 months or even 12 months at a time, so I wish they would give discounts for that, knowing I’d be staying long term. But overall it’s been a good experience here, the only way I’ll leave is if I find a storage unit closer to where I live now that’s the same price or cheaper.

Not sure why the people above gave 5 stars, (probably friends and family) if I could, mine would be NEGATIVE 5 STARS! The new owners are LIERS and SCAMMERS! I have been at this storage for 11 years, with no problems. My rent was at the right price considering the place is not even in Albuquerque. It sits on a dirt lot on top of 9 mile Hill. When the wind blows you get 1-3 inches of dirt all over your stuff. Then the NEW OWNERS come in and immediately raise the rent & we sign a contract for the new rent. Then the next month they raise my rent again $10 dollars (NO I didn't realize it at the time). Come the next month, they raise it another $10 dollars. I call and ask why and explain i have a contract and was told " THAT IS NOT A CONTRACT, THERE IS NO SIGNATURE FROM US? THAT IS JUST AN AGREEMENT, THAT WE HAVE THE CUSTOMERS SIGN JUST SO THEY WILL FOLLOW THE RULES. WE CAN AND DO, RAISE THE RENT WHEN EVER WE WANT! Everything is done online ( no face to face ) so they get YOU to sign and they don't! I do NOT recommend renting from CASA STORAGE!!!!
